"James Taylor" planted the first Tea seed in the Island of Ceylon in year 1867. He is Ceylon’s Tea Pioneer and Manager. He manufactured his initial Teas in his bungalow veranda sold locally and was declared as DELICIOUS. It was an "UNBLENDED TEA”.

Since then Tea making became a “Fine Art” perfected by Managers who continue to produce UNBLENDED teas at the source. These Unblended teas of Broken Orange Pekoe and Broken Orange Pekoe Fannings are consumed by Managers in their homes even today being the envy of the rest of the Tea drinking world
